Raise in seed bed: First batch mid of February till beginning of March, to plant out after 5-6 weeks. Second batch from end June to mid-July in a seed tray to plant out around August to avoid early flowering
Direct sowing: Mid-March under cover for first batch and in end June until mid-July second batch
Seed germination temperature: 20-22 °C
Planting distance: ca. 30 x 30 cm
Optimal amount of plants: 10-11 plants/m²
