Species-specific cultivation instructions
Sowing: Direct sow from March to June in rows spaced 30 to 40 cm apart, at a depth of 1 cm, in sunny locations with deep, loose soil.
Thinning: Thin seedlings to 15 cm apart within the row.
Watering: Regular watering to maintain soil moisture, especially during dry periods.
Harvest: From September to February; roots can be left in the ground and harvested as needed.
Other Considerations: Parsnip seeds have a long germination period (3 to 4 weeks); keep the soil moist until the first true leaves develop.
